Dr. Daniel Bowen

Prior to veterinary school Dr. Bowen earned degrees in Biology at Park College, Parkville, MO-1979, and pharmacy at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Missouri-Kansas City, graduating in 1984. Dr. Bowen then graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1992. After graduation Dr. Bowen completed a 1-year internship in Veterinary Trauma, Emergency, and Critical Care.at the Veterinary Institute of Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care in Milwaukee, WI. Dr. Bowen has enjoyed general, small-animal clinical practice for over 30 years. Dr Bowen is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, the Kansas Veterinary Medical Association and the Florida Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Bowen is widowed and lives with his 2 golden retrievers---Harvey and Rebel, and 3 cats-Opie, Caroline and Duncan in Kansas City, MO. Dr. Bowen enjoys outdoor activities such as gardening, hiking, swimming and bicycling, and loves a good book as well.
