Dr. Alex Mandi is the new associate veterinarian at Crysler Animal Hospital. Prior to veterinary school, Dr. Mandi earned a master’s degree in marine biology in 2020 from Nova Southeastern University, Fort Lauderdale, FL. Dr. Mandi then received his doctorate in veterinary medicine from the University of Missouri in 2025. Dr. Mandi practiced at an equine referral hospital for 6 months before joining Crysler Animal Hospital in November. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Mandi’s professional interests include preventative medicine, surgery, and exotic animal medicine. He and his wife, Rachel, enjoy spending time outdoors with their golden retriever, Percy. When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Mandi enjoys reading, hiking, swimming, and scuba diving.
